The Department of Chemistry, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, in association with the Indian Women Scientists' Association (IWSA), Vashi, Navi Mumbai, is organizing a Popular Science Lecture on "Production and Applications of Rare Earth Elements in India" on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, at 2:30 PM in Fr. Melesius Hall, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara.

The lecture will be delivered by Mr. V. Chandrasekar, General Manager & Head, RED, IREL (India) Ltd., Udyogamandal, who will share valuable insights into the production processes, industrial applications, and strategic importance of rare earth elements in India.
