As part of the World Environment Day observance, NSS volunteers of Sacred Heart College actively participated in a garden development and beautification initiative at Panampilly Nagar. The volunteers engaged in cleaning the area, preparing the garden space, planting and maintaining greenery, and enhancing the overall environment.

The programme aimed to promote environmental stewardship, encourage community participation in sustainable practices, and create awareness about the importance of preserving and nurturing green spaces. Through their dedicated efforts, the NSS volunteers contributed to making the locality cleaner, greener, and more environmentally friendly while reinforcing the message of collective responsibility towards nature.
