Dr. Meethu Mohan is an Assistant Professor, Environmental Scientist and Internal Auditor specialising in Environmental Pollution in Paddy ecosystems, heavy metal and pesticide contamination, greenhouse gas emissions, pollution control, resource protection, and sustainability. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Kerala. She is also a certified ISO Internal Auditor for Integrated Management Systems (ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001).

She worked as a guest faculty in Environmental Studies at the BLDEA’s Commerce, BHS, Arts and TGP Science College, Jamkhandi, Bagalkot district, Karnataka and as a teaching faculty at Big Learning Education Pvt Ltd, Adoor, Pathanamthitta. She completed her M.Sc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Kerala with a First Rank. Thereafter, she was awarded an INSPIRE Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India for pursuing her doctoral research. She completed her Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Industrial Microbiology from Sree Narayana College for Women, Kollam, with a Second rank (college level).

Dr. Meethu published articles in peer-reviewed journals, contributed chapters to books, and presented work at National and International conferences. Second position in Poster presentation in “International Conference on Global Research Initiatives for Sustainable Agriculture and Allied Sciences” (GRISAAS), 2019. Second place in Essay writing competition in “State level Seminar on Energy Conservation and Environment,” 2014.
