A Pre-Ph.D. presentation by research scholar Mr Dev Mathew was held on 27 March 2026 at Melesius Hall, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, under the Research Centre in Economics. His thesis, titled “Unpaid Care Work and Women: An Economic Analysis of the Time Allocation by Urban and Rural Women”, was presented under the guidance of Dr Siby Abraham. The session, chaired by Dr Ancy V. P. and attended by faculty, research scholars and postgraduate students, included a detailed 45‑minute presentation followed by an intensive discussion. Participants offered constructive feedback on theory, methodology and title refinement, significantly strengthening the thesis and reinforcing the department’s research culture.
