The PG Department of Commerce, East Campus, Sacred Heart College, in association with Comverse, organized a student-led panel discussion titled “Union Budget Analysis – 2026: If I Were the Finance Minister” on 23rd February 2026 at Aggaeus Hall.The programme aimed to provide a platform for students to critically analyse the Union Budget 2026 and propose innovative fiscal policies from the perspective of future Finance Ministers. The event successfully encouraged analytical thinking, economic awareness, and policy-oriented discussions among students. The target audience for the event were all llnd year B.COM Travel & Tourism, B.COM CA, B.COM Finance and Taxation, B.COM Finance and Accounts and lst year M.COM. The programme was effectively coordinated by Ashwin Joy T and Albin Issac George under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Suleena V.S and Dr. Gayathri Ramesh, ensuring smooth execution and active participation throughout the session.
