As part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiative, the Department of Social Work in collaboration with the Student Development Office conducted a Baseline Village Survey at Kumbalam Grama Panchayat to understand socio-economic conditions, access to welfare schemes, livelihood patterns, and emerging community needs.

A total of 150 households were covered through systematic data collection by BSW students under faculty supervision, ensuring meaningful community engagement and reliable field-based insights.
