On July 5, 2025, the Department of Computer Science organized an Outreach Program to HOPE Community Village in Alappuzha. A total of 24 participants, including final-year students and faculty, attended this event. As part of the department's value-based education and outreach initiatives, the visit provided students with valuable, real-world insight into the impact of compassion-driven, family-based childcare systems. The experience went beyond a typical field trip, fundamentally reshaping the team's understanding of childcare—it was not an orphanage, but a loving home built on principles of dignity, structure, and belonging. The visit was instrumental in helping the participants appreciate the crucial value of community, empathy, and sustainable development models that focus on restoring identity and confidence in children's lives, rather than just providing shelter.
