On Monday 22/July/2024, the NSS unit at Sacred Heart College Thevara bid a heartfelt farewell to Arun Thadhaagath as he embarked on a remarkable two-year solo cycling journey from the Paris Olympics venue to Kochi. This ambitious expedition will follow the ancient Spice Route, traversing through Africa and West Asia, and including the Gulf countries. Arun’s journey not only celebrates the spirit of adventure but also pays homage to the historic trade routes that have connected cultures and civilizations for centuries.
