From 10 to 13 September 2025, the institution observed World Suicide Prevention Week through a series of impactful activities designed to promote mental health awareness and collective responsibility. In collaboration with the Film Club, the week featured a screening of the film Chhichhore, which served as a poignant starting point for discussions on academic pressure and resilience. Complementing this, students performed "STILLNESS-MIME," a creative expression intended to break the silence surrounding mental health struggles and emphasize the importance of non-verbal support and empathy.
A central highlight of the observance was the "Wall of Hope" activity, which encouraged participants to share messages of support and solidarity. This interactive initiative aimed to foster open dialogue and provide a visible platform for community encouragement, reinforcing the idea that no one is alone in their journey. By integrating film, performance art, and collaborative writing, the week effectively raised awareness and emphasized the shared duty of every individual in preventing suicide and supporting mental well-being across the campus.
