SH Placement Cell enables the students of SH to bridge the gap between the Academia and Corporate world. Feedback from industry is collected and the feed back used to design Pre-Placement Training Programmes. This important activity is vital to enable the students to achieve desired career objectives.
The various components of the Pre-Placement Training Programmes include modules on Current Affairs, General Aptitude, Technical Aptitude, Presentation Skills, Group Discussion Skills, Debate Skills, Interviews Skills & Mock Interviews, Industrial Analytics Workshops, etc. Training is also proposed based on the modern techniques of psychometric testing to give scientific career counseling to students to equip them to secure the opportunities available.
Company–specific orientation is conducted for students prior to all the placement drives organized by the institution. Special orientations on international study programmes are organised in collaboration with with various agencies for the students who aspire to go abrod for higher studies:
- Once the student appears for the process, the student cannot reject the offer made by the company
- Each student shall be eligible for only one offer
- After the convocation, unless the company brings any breach of commitment on the part of the student to the notice of the Corporate & Public Relations cell, SH’s responsibility ceases
The placement outcomes for the academic year reflect strong participation from reputed organizations across diverse sectors, including professional services, information technology, banking and financial services, education, hospitality, and social impact organizations. Leading recruiters such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY), and ICICI Bank accounted for a significant share of the total offers, highlighting sustained industry confidence in the quality and employability of the institution’s graduates. The recruitment process resulted in opportunities across multiple locations, including Hyderabad, Kochi, Bengaluru, and other major centers, demonstrating both geographic diversity and sectoral breadth in placement outcomes.
A major proportion of placements were secured in the professional services and consulting sector, followed by banking and financial services and information technology services. ICICI Bank and Deloitte emerged as the highest recruiters in terms of the number of students placed, while organizations such as CGH Earth, Orchid, Cognizant, TCS, Teach For India, and Tyndis contributed to a balanced and inclusive placement portfolio. The compensation packages offered ranged across entry-level industry standards, with variations based on role, sector, and location, reflecting a healthy mix of corporate, service, and social sector opportunities
