The department offers career oriented courses to help students face today's global environment wherein demand and scope for professionally trained graduates with sound knowledge of their core disciplines and expertise is much sought after. Our students, through these courses, are well equipped to qualify the competitive entries in service, industry and self-employment sectors. CSIR-NET coaching for post graduate students of the college as well as other neighboring college students is one such initiative that is being offered by the department. This training opens the doors for students to qualify for advanced research or teaching profession depending on their individual choice. The students are also given computer awareness classes, remedial coaching and value education classes apart from Basic Mathematics Learning Programme (BMLP) for inter disciplinary students.
