Every enrolled member undertakes to continue in the Corps in the first instance for two years. At the end, every member will be issued a weightage certificate, for recruitment in Government and other services, and for admission to all Professional Colleges.

Uniforms will be issued to all cadets at the time of enrolment. Outgoing cadets should deposit all items of uniform other than the clothing items before completion of their respective courses of study.

Cadets obtaining Certificate C and a university degree are eligible to appear before the Service Selection Board for direct commission in the army and navy without appearing for the UPSC examination.
