MSc Aquaculture and Fish Processing is a four semester (TWO year) job-oriented PG course. It is a self-financing vocationalised course, in which the students are given on the job training in various sea food processing plants and aquaculture farms in order to equip them for employment as successful researchers, managers and supervisors. The Post graduates of Aquaculture and Fish Processing will find suitable and attractive placements in research institutions, govt. agencies, shrimp farms/ fish farms and fish processing centres in public and private sector. They are also given training in entrepreneurship to become self, employed in commercial enterprises.

(a) A scientifically constructed marine prawn farm. (b) Specially designed pond for crab culture. (c) Two fresh water ponds for carps & fresh water prawn culture. (d) Aesthetically prepared aquarium for ornamental fishes. (e) Commercial Multi species Ornamental fish hatchery.
